Silicone air ducting is designed with a sprung steel wire internal support which allows the hose to be very flexible, whilst also keeping the hose from sagging. It is made from silicone coated glass fibre material giving excellent temperature resistance, this helps to keep the air inside as cool as possible. The lightweight flexible ducting is regulary used in diesel heater. This is far superior to alumnium ducting as it has less heat loss and wont kink/split/distort at all.
