In Heating mode, the unit will consume up to 1.41KW of power. The Cooling pad should be washed to remove any deposits from the water source and incoming air. Simply add water to the tank, plug it in and its ready to operate.

What is an Evaporative Cooler? Evaporative Air Cooling is a process which occurs when hot, dry air is blown over a water-soaked pad. This action causes the hot air temperature to reduce and its moisture content (relative humidity) to increase. Evaporative Coolers are extremely energy efficient compared with conventional air conditioners because no other mechanical energy is required, apart from that for a fan to blow air through the cooler and a pump to keep the pad continually soaked with water.

Conventional air conditioners require a mechanical compression refrigeration system to cool the incoming hot air. Because of the need for a refrigerant compressor, the system will require considerably more energy than that required for an Evaporative Cooler. Evaporative Coolers will operate best and most efficiently in hot dry conditions. When the air to be cooled has high humidity, they will be less efficient. Please note that Evaporative Coolers will operate perfectly ok in the UK for most summertime days.
